Crossroads Community Closet

Serving families in Central PA with shoes, baby equipment and furniture.

Crossroads Community Closet is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides families in need with shoes and resources for their children. We work with foster agencies, Safe Families for Children, Children and Youth agencies, pregnancy centers, school districts, and New Hope Ministries.  All referrals come in from our partnering organizations.

100% of your donation goes to those in need.

There are NO salaries, NO rental fees or exorbitant operational expenses. The only fees we incur are for insurance, necessary software to run it, and storage items like shelves and bins.

The closet started in February 2023, but we became an official nonprofit in October of 2023. Since we’ve started, we have helped well over 150 families (and counting).

Testimonials from those we've had the honor of serving...

Crossroads Closet is a nonprofit who has been overwhelmingly generous in their support of life. They are quick in their response and happy to serve the community. Through Crossroad's Closet young teen moms have received food, baby items and other basic life essentials for themselves as well as their babies. Thank you for your support.

When I lost my house, I was struggling to find emergency or safe housing for myself and my 5 y/o daughter. I called most of the shelters and unfortunately, none of them have availability. I have to stay in a hotel to be safe and it was winter time. I remember going to Tenfold for help and they provided me with information about Safe Families. Crossroads Closet helped me extend my stay at the hotel during Christmas and sent my daughter gifts.

The Closet was a blessing to my family when my daughter's husband left and took items we would need for the baby. We were blessed with a car seat, high chair, and stroller. These items would have put us in a financial bind. Instead, we were able to focus on his care and basics. We are so thankful for the services that were provided.

Crossroads Closet is very dear to my heart. They helped me out when I was most in need. Thank you to them for being so kind and helpful. I appreciate everyone who puts in their time and love to help those in need everyday. They do not judge and most definitely will not turn you away. Crossroads Closet will move mountains in order to help the community. Thank you so much again!
